  • Dead spot?

I have an 02 750 kat and i noticed when i pull the throttle all the way back seems like the power is little better when i release the throttle forward abit.

Is this a dead spot or is this normal?

Also i was thinking of replacing the can only on this bike with a smaller can will i need to jet it?
I will be using the orig header and mid pipe.

if you keep the headers and mid pipe you wont need to adjust anything.

My 90 kat is kind of like that...i noticed it pulls harder thru bottom end if u just roll into the throttle instead of just opening it wide open...but after u tach it up a bit it desnt matter it pulls great...lol...Do my carbs need adjusted..? bc thats what im thinkin.

Main jets are the wrong size, I agree with MD.
90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.
