Swingarm Spool Stand (dont know what its called)

Found a Vance and Hines swingarm/ spool stand for a great price but from what I understand, you need rear spools in order for the stand to work... where do these mount (the spools to the swing arm)? Do I even need these? Thanks!!

The Kat doesn't have a place to mount rear spools.....unless you make the mounts like I did. See my profile for pics. If you plan on removing your center stand you really don't have much use for something like this, IMHO.

You can get stands that have a padded arm that lifts the swingarm just like it would with a set of bobbins. So no you really don't need bobbins (a.k.a spools).
