I'm starting the build on my brothers bike for him and he mentioned today that he would want to re-place the cam and/or heads. I told him from what I remember, it was cheaper/easier to just do an engine swap. I was wondering you guys thoughts on what engine swap would be the easiest on a 99 600 Kat?

Use a 750 or you will find out you have to unbolt the motor mounts & lower the motor every time you want to get the valve cover off. Which would be every 3000 miles for the scheduled valve adjustments. Any oil cooled GSXR or Katana 750 motor will go right in. so is the 1200 bandit motor a bolt in job or is there a lot of mods to do to get it to fit.2k6 Kat factory blue and white, lowered, mesh mod, shovel chopped, polished clutch and brake levers,V&H ss2r slip on, home made intagrated tail light, polished lips, 8k hid's and Joe's 40 led kit. All done by me learned from Katriders thanks.
