think i have a problem.....

  • think i have a problem.....

    ok i was attempting to do the poor mans ignition advancer and when i took the cover off to get to the ignition rotor i noticed there was oil in the bottom part of the chamber...im new here and just wasnt sure if thats suppose to be like that or not.....any tips or answers would be greatly appreciated!!!!

    Normal . That IS the inside of the engine , after all .....

      yeah i just didnt think the oil was suppose to get to that part of the motor...thanks for the help!!!

        it's a MOTOR, it's inside a MOTOR, oil is everywhere.

          ok i got another question... i read the total write up of how to do the ignition thing but what i wanna know is that little dial over the rotor itself how do you get it off it just wants to keep moving, and does it go back the way i took it off or do i move it the same amount as the rotor?
