starting issues

i bought a 2000 katana 600 bout 2 months ago and its runs fine with the exception of the headlight issues i posted earler but some times its dosen't like to start right up. its cranks for like 30 seconds sometimes is this a sign of a bad starter

If it cranks it is not a sign of a bad starter.
Carb clean and sync would be your next stop ~

Um , guys ? Plug check first .....Well , actually FIRST would be prime it to make sure there's gas in them carbs .
