I have a 95 katana 600. I have an engine viberation/buzz from 3500 to 4100 after that it smooths out and runs fine. Anyone have an idea. Thanks for any help.

mine is 6K RPM. That just so happens to equate to a little over 70 in 6th for me, which makes the highway very uncomfortable. By 7K, it's gone, but that's a little TOO super-legal.Any and all statements by Loudnlow7484 are merely his own opinions, and not necessarily the opinion of Katriders.com. When I ran my bike on the dyno there were massive dips around 3-4k and 6500-7000k where it was going super lean. After a little adjustment the vibration mostly went away in those spots but it is still there a little. I also got new grips and filled my bars with lead and now the vibration is almost nill.

That's odd.. only place mine does that is a very narrow band ca 4.5-5.25K rpm. By the time i get to 6K it's a really smooth and comfy ride-= Har du styr på lortet, eller lort på styret? =-

It did not start until the bike was jetted.Would the viberation be from to rich or lean? I think it is running to rich but the mixture is set to 2 turns out. When it came back from the shop it was set at 1 1/2. The bike ran very poor and had no power. I took the carbs off and set the mixture to 2 turns out.It halls but now the viberation is driving me crazy. Im about to go trade it in.
Can the mixture be adjusted with the carbs on the bike?
