Everything is back together and seems to be working great. Oil pan was leaking so I am going to check that out and see were the leak is coming from (bolt or gasket). The neutral sensor broke so oil is leaking out of there but I think I sealed that up. I also cleaned the carbs top to bottom and replaced o rings.

I will update with pic's and information. I hope it all works out, testing next hour I think.

i hade the same problem there are two gears for second gear and the teath dont break off the squar nubs on the out side and inside wear down i can send you a picture of what i mean tomorow

Yeah I know that's what mine looked like. I replaced the gears but the drivin look fine so I left it and also replaced the shift forks.
