    I have read the articles in the how to. I is pretty much like the manual, with one difference. The manual says to tighten the little screw to resistance, then back off 1/4 turn. In the how to section it says to tighten to resistance then lock it down. Which way is correct? I have hit the adjustment mileage on my 06

    Usually the backing-off works best for most bikes ...

      I second that, but it's not a quarter turn, it's a 1/2 turn.

        Yeah , but at the same time "resistance" is relative , too .
