  • oil in airbox and backfiring. ooooh!

Ummm. Well the title pretty much covers it. So I have this wicked oil leak from a bad head gasket. While I was disassembeling it, I noticed oil and fuel in the airbox (not much 1/4 oz). I think it might have come through the breather tube. Is this normal? I also have some backfiring. This mostly happens when i play with the throttle at lower RPM's (bout 2 or 3 grand).

The only performance mod done to the bike is a Scorpion exhaust.
Any help would be awesome. thanks.
Sooo cold! I need more pants.

Usually when I get a backfire , it's because a plug is on the verge of fouling out ....
