Is this oil bad for my bike?

I am running valvoline MAX life, synthetic blend sae 10w-40. Is this bad for my engine since it's rating for 75,000+ engines or should I be fine? What is some of the best yet reasonable price oil I should be using if not?

Personally I will NEVER use oil formulated for high mileage engines.... why? Because they technically EXPLODE your seals.

I think if the motor oil says "energy conserving" on the bottle it has friction modifiers in it which can effect the wet clutch.

Most non-motorcycle specific oil has friction modifiers in it, that's why running car oil in your bike will toast your clutch plates.

I use mobile 1 4t myself, but there's lots of options out there.

I just went out and baught Lucas Oil 10-40 it had all the good ingreds that cyber posted in that one thread. It said the number 1 in wetclutch and high rpm's. My 2nd gear was slipping abit when I changed the oils so now do you think if I change with the lucas I might be in luck or it's for sure already did it's work and burnt stuff out... I only ran about 30 miles on the new sync so now I want to change to my lucas I baught and I hope it will restore some power or 2nd slipping abit.

The clutch plates may be "varnished" by the use of the car oil, but there's a chance it's still fine and you just need to replace the oil.

Motorcycle oil is good for Kat's...Olive Oil, Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil is good for frying Cat's....oh yeah so is Peanut Oil...
