I have a 1993 Kat 600. Bought it recently and it had been sitting for a while (pretty dusty). Runs great, looks great and a blast to ride. But, (there's always a "but"), left front fork is leaking some at the seal after a hard or long ride. How difficult are these to replace at home? My mechanical aptitude and experience is high but I've never done this. Any hints?

Thanks for the links. They have that "been there, done that" feel to them. We've got hurricane remnants coming tonight, Friday and early Saturday. I think I'll be spending it in the garage. BTW, you need to get more sleep (4:44 a.m. response) unless you're presently in Germany. Thanks againCrawlin' from the wreckage.

I got good information here:
Motorcyclist, America’s First motorcycle magazine, publishes new and used motorcycle reviews, bike news, and riding tips for riders that love to ride motorcycles!
Good photos too..
Again as in the threads be careful removeing the bottom screw!
