i have a 1993 gsx 600f katana and it has a dead spot in the 3500-4000 rpm rang i have riped down ceand synced the carbs and when i hit 3500 at a free stand rev it spits sputers and dyes if i dont burp the trotle fast enogh can anyone help

Tune to stock, then add mods.
The first thing I would do is pull the K&N and see if the flat spot goes away-Steve

one how do i check the float hight and what is speck. i will find out what jets i have i dont know what the stock jets are and the needles are set to full leen so the needle clip is as far to the top as it can go and if any one knows of a good link on how to check katana floats that would be cool
