  • Cleaning the front sprocket

I just spent the last hour or so cleaning my chain with kerosene and a toothbrush. It did a pretty decent job except for the front sprocket that is buried so deep that I can’t even see it.

Before I start unbolting things I though I'd ask you guys if there is an easy way to expose the sprocket so I can clean it properly especially since I'm switching from chain lube to wax for the winter storage?

You've got to bite the bullet and take the fairing and sprocket cover off. It'll be fun!
