  • Paint flakes in tank?

    ok found out its not paint (my bad),
    ok i took it to a shop and they said it looks like the lining and a lil bit of rust. he said im looking at finding a new new tank ( not happining) or re lining he old one which he said he'd have to cut to holes in the bottom to clean it out, and all the would be like $250 bucks!!!! which i dont have!!!

    siphon the fuel out of the tank, rinse it a time or two with fresh fuel and re-peat...
    A rag on a coat hanger smothered with a bit of grease will pick up the last tiny bit that can't be siponed out

                  im nervous as hell tho, i get nervous when i have to take classes and do things in front of them, that and i watched alot of youtube vids of people falling lol and that didnt help lol

                        hey use carb. cleaner/ it will make the paint chips turn to a gel. then flush with fresh gas. thats what i had to do with my wifes bike after i painted it . she's had to prob. so far.

                          did you drain the gas the spray? how long till it turns to gel?

                            i used spray carb. cleaner."gumout" it worked almost inst. turned it upside down shot it from pitcock. then flushed it out with gas
