  • found some sludge. gasket?

found it in the breather tube from the valve cover to the airbox.

this is an oil cooled engine, so i fail to see how any water could mix with the oil. i would typically think a head or intake gasket if this werew a car, or a water cooled motor. i don't get it.

    should i be worried? pics:

Condensation forms just between the temp differences in the oil, air temps. Usually the engine heats up enough to boil off the water.
    Must read for carb tuners......http://www.factorypro.com/tech/tech_...m_engines.html

And being as that's the crankcase breather you're holding ....... Unless your oil looks like that when you drain it , I wouldn't worry overmuch . Be sure to pull the airbox drain every so often to see what/how much crap comes out , too .
