  • replacing clutch on 98+

what are the signs of clutch issue that require the replacement of the clutch? also how often do you have to replace the clutch? i have a 05 kat 600 with 8500 miles, i'm not sure if it is a problem or not but shifting between gears on the bike is rough....thanks for your help in advance!

You probably need an oil change or need to adjust your cable. Very rarely does the clutch go out unless you do a lot of straight drag racing.
90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.
