  • Valve Cover

Also, I put new front tire and rotors on the bike, and accordig to the guy who installed them ( Arizona Motorcycle Tires, or the Tire Nazi as people call him) it's not the head gasket leaking but the valve cover ( because I couldn't have 175 PSIs compression with a leaking head gasket).

Does anybody has this valve cover problem ? What are the risks ? What do I need to fix it ? I should receive the Haynes Manual soon ( posted by Black Peter , thanks ! ) but I would appreciate your feedback guys.

    Thanks a lot,

    George

I had that problem and it just needed a new gasket and a good cleaning. Suzuki also recommends silicone when installing. Check first to see that there are no loose bolts on the valve cover. Torque specs are in the maual I believe.
