is this normal on the kats at first start to warm up i dont hear anything but once shes warm i hear a considerable amount of tap until revved to 3500 4000 rpm then it smooths out is this normal?

by the way i have 1800 miles on it and took it in for first service at 700 they said valves should be fine to 5000 milesas said the bikeless wonder! -
I want to find out the same thing. The other day when I was coming home I heard a tapping. I have started it up a couple of times since and hear a tapping. Ironically, I have 1800 miles on mine also. Not sure what needs to be done.
