  • steering dampner??

    ok... so before anyone starts flaming... i used the search, and nothing!!

    now... does anyone know if there are any companys out there making a steering dampner for kats? or one that you can convert over? anyone tried to convert if there is? thanks guys

    You don't need one. The weight of the Kat is more than enough to keep the front end stable. I have put the Kat through the ringer, and have never had a single bit of head shake.

      i kno you dont need one as much as you do on a ss, but i would still like to try it, esp once i drop the b12 in... i get some shake every once in a while during "spirited" acceleration now... and i've actually had a tank slapper on this bike once... and once i drop the b12 in, the front end is goin to get alot lighter, lol...

        It's "damper" . And I'd check the usual head bearing play , tire wear , and chain alignment before going any further ....
        I am a fluffy lil cuddly lovable bunny , dammit !

          my bad... damper... and i've had everthing on my bike checked... i always take my bike to the shop at the beginning of every season and get the entire bike looked over to make sure everything is copestetic.... just want to know if anyone knows of any???????
