gas tank question

ok i removed my gas tank for painting today. was cleaning bike and noticed 2 of the tubes that plug into the tank don't lead anywhere. are there 2 vent tubes that plug into the tank or did something get disconnected?

yes 2 vent tubes come off the tank and go down through the frame to the bottom.
