Hey ya'll, trying to get the starter off of my '92 Kat 750. First of all, I just replaced the starter switch. My bike wasn't cranking. The battery is showing a full 12 volts. When I push the start button the solenoid clicks. I can put the bike in gear, let out the clutch, push the bike and "jog" the tranny. Then when I push the start button the starter will try and work but it's making an awful metal against metal sound. When I have the bike in neutral while holding the clutch, the solenoid just clicks when I push the button. The starter is also getting power.
Anybody had a problem similar to this?? Does is sound like the starter is toast??? Thanks a lot guys.
