Also, you can check to see if one of the wires came undone on the horn itself.

If your horn has the little "tuning" screws on the back, sometimes turning and adjusting one of these a little will make it work again.

that doesn't make enough noise though.

sounds like a good enough reason to swap it with an air horn. That will get their attention

Horns break , but they're also cheap . Get a louder "freeway Blaster" if yours is dead .

I think auto zone carries them. There is a dual air-horn that you can buy off ebay though that is supposed to be loud as hell and one of the better ones. It cost about $50 bucks though compared to the low cost of the freeway blaster.

theres a lil black button on the side, it says -push-

Both Auto Zone and Advance Auto Parts carry the Fiamm 130db freeway blaster. I installed a high and low tone in my bike (with relay) and a 130db bike horn on Kim's.

I have 2 stock horns, if you need one give me a shout - it's yours.
                            Matt

If you think you don't need a helmet, you probably don't.

I suspect that your push-on-plugs on the horn came loose. The horn has (at least on the 98+) a dual-prong male spade connectors, and the wiring to it has a two-in-one female spade connector that pushes onto it. Check to see if it's plugged in -- if it is, unplug it, clean the contacts and reconnect it.

Meanwhile, my advice is to get the Freeway Blaster, which runs about $16 - $18 at PepBoys, etc.

                              Cheers
