any ideas??

im pretty sure my gas tank is shot, but figured i would put a post up and see if any of you have any ideas.

well, long story short, the problem with my bike ended up being the previous owner put a nipple over the vent on the bottom side of the tank. so i took the nipple off and gas started to run out. i just drained the tank and the tube that runs from the bottom of the tank to the top is broken. so basicaly that has to be repaired somehow or i have to find a way to vent it, or by a new tank, and deal with everything that comes with that.

ive thought about drilling a hole in the top of the tank under the gas cap where nothing could drop into it. otherwise i have no idea how i could fix that tube so any ideas is appreciated. thank you
