  • Fuel Hoses - Diagram anyone??

I took off my tank to check the plugs and I disconnected all the fuel hoses. Does anyone have a clear diagram of which hose goes into which connector? And, what each hose is for?

    Thanks

the two big ones are fule hoses, they go to either side of the petcock, and the smaller on is the vaccume hose, it goes to the back of the petcock.

Although these diagrams don't really help I thank you for taking the time out to look for them. Much appreciated!

            Lines to the fuel tank..5

            3 to the petcock...2 fuel, 1 vacuum

2 directly to underside of the tank...spill over

              Kick's GOT IT! 8)

Those 2 drain hoses, one for overflow from fill neck and one for leak protection at sending unit shoudl route to RIGHT side of carbs and go down along side or in and front of the air box, then down back of engine to bent clip that holds hoses for drains.

THAT clip should hold the two tank drain hoses, the large air box drain hose, and the battery overflow drain hose.
I've owned over 70 Katanas - you think I know anything about them?

Oh ok. Great! Thanks guys! So that means that if I switch up the two overflow hoses by accident nothing will exlplode and I won't be "hosed" right!?

Thank you for clearing that up.

No, nothing will explode (straight away). The moron previous owner of my bike connected the overfill drain with the fuel sender drain - the hose was full of gas/water so the fuel sender cables were all corroded...

You mean there's supposed to be a hose coming off the fuel sender box ? Great , yet ANOTHER part I find I'm missing !

                          95 Katana fuel hose diagram

Does anyone have really clear pictures of how to re-connect the fuel lines on a 1995 Katana. I am having trouble figuring out where the hoses re-connect to on the carburetor.
