I took off my tank to check the plugs and I disconnected all the fuel hoses. Does anyone have a clear diagram of which hose goes into which connector? And, what each hose is for?
Those 2 drain hoses, one for overflow from fill neck and one for leak protection at sending unit shoudl route to RIGHT side of carbs and go down along side or in and front of the air box, then down back of engine to bent clip that holds hoses for drains.
THAT clip should hold the two tank drain hoses, the large air box drain hose, and the battery overflow drain hose.
No, nothing will explode (straight away). The moron previous owner of my bike connected the overfill drain with the fuel sender drain - the hose was full of gas/water so the fuel sender cables were all corroded...
Does anyone have really clear pictures of how to re-connect the fuel lines on a 1995 Katana. I am having trouble figuring out where the hoses re-connect to on the carburetor.
