I've looked over some of the posts, am I right in saying that a 92, 600 uses a 530 chain with 118 links? Are the ones on jcwhitney ok? or how about the ones on dennis kirk (I want the sealed ones don't I)?

I have always used DID,chains from Dennis Kirk,i have had no problems, seem too last. The last one i bought was a 630 o-ring,for the 82 Kat was around $140 i think.I also like to use Maxima chain wax,IMO really works well.
Ok, no more mister nice guy, i've met the guy in the street, and he's a wanker.

You don't need to buy a new chain, we have some extra stuff laying around the shop!

Depends on your strategy... a cheap chain that lasts 10k miles replaced twice or three times for the cost of an expensive chain that lasts 15k miles is the better buy IMHO. But if you don't want to hassle with it, get the best you can find... X-ring RKO, X-ring DID, etc.

Yes, you need a sealed-ring 530 chain. Should be 118 link unless you changed sprocket tooth counts.

        Cheers
