  • CA model Charcoal Canister removal

    Can anyone tell me how to rerout the hoses after you remove that canister? I can't remeber how it's suposed to go. 93 kat 600.

        Why would you want to get rid of the charcoal cannister(s)? They aren't the problem nor do they contribute to any power loss. The real issues are the PAIR valve and the air injector lines under the exhaust headers (those air injector lines need to have plates made to block them off if you want to remove them), plus the fan (which tends to ruin batteries).

        PS - the charcoal cannisters rarely go bad, but the PCV valves leading to them often do...

          I left the cannister hooked on mine. Just removed the AIR hoses, and made block off plates for the cylinders. Also disconnected the fan (battery killer).
          I do have all the stuff still just in case the new owner wants to re-hook them up.
