Ideally I would first like to use it for a system check and THEN I'd buy it if it's what my bike needs for a heart beat. I'll pay for the postage etc and all that, so there would be absolutely no cost to you.....Plus afterward you'd have friend for life! :P
Thanks for all the tips!! ...the process continues...
PM me.............I may have an extra one here...........I've owned over 70 Katanas - you think I know anything about them?
Is there such a thing as TOO MANY BIKES?
Can you go TOO FAST on a bike?

Have you checked all the wiring between components? Remember, a continuity check may not mean the wire is good. It may show good continuity but may not be able to carry a load. The connector on the end of the wire may only be holding on by a single strand of wire, or could be broken in the middle somewhere. A good idea is to throw a 12v test light on to see if your getting all the amps through the wire.
My manual says that the CDI could be bad and still throw a weak spark. If you lived close by I'd let you borrow mine to check, but maybe someone near you will chime in and save the day.
Good luck.Eric
