        Have you checked all the wiring between components? Remember, a continuity check may not mean the wire is good. It may show good continuity but may not be able to carry a load. The connector on the end of the wire may only be holding on by a single strand of wire, or could be broken in the middle somewhere. A good idea is to throw a 12v test light on to see if your getting all the amps through the wire.
        My manual says that the CDI could be bad and still throw a weak spark. If you lived close by I'd let you borrow mine to check, but maybe someone near you will chime in and save the day.
