Spark advance from my 93 work in my 01 Kat?

I have a V&H 5 degree spark advance in my 93 Katana 600. I am considering putting it in my 01 Katana 600. Will it fit?

Of course this maybe a waste of my time. I really didn’t see much improvement after I installed it in my 93.

Yes, it will fit. Same part number.

KNOW THIS: If you have something other than an American, (Canadian?), Swiss or Austrian version of the Kat, the stock advance is already set to 10° and a five degree advancer is NOT RECOMMENDED.
