bike seems to be running "flat" OOPS please ignore

Hello everyone. First of all I have an '05 Kat 750 bone stock that just turned 2k miles. The bike seems to be running kind of flat. Engine is running fine but seems sluggish in all gears. I know about the "getting used to the power" thing, but it just doesn't seem right. Any suggestions?
