  • Engine has problems starting in the winter

    Hi,

So I've had my gsx600f or Katana 2002 for around 5/6 years and I always have issues starting my bike when the temps are below 5C. It usually takes a good 5 mins of intermittent starting with the choke down to get it to go. This is a major pain in the ass when I need to get to work, I remember someone mentioning a fuel additive but I can't remember what it is now. Does anyone use any fuel additives to help starting in the cold or is it bs?

    Thanks ;3

Now and then I've struggled to get started and used some carb cleaner in the air intake, usually only a little squirt will do it.
