Hey folks. I have an intermittent upward rpm surge in most of the rpm range, but it's very noticeable at idle. Other than that, it runs great. Idles fine, except for the intermittent upward surge. It's not a gradual surge either, but immediate, sort of like an in and out spark or something. This started happening after I replaced the starter relay. I also removed the carbs to get to the alternator to replace the o-ring seal, and I replaced some weeping valve cover bolt seals. Before that it ran like a top. Doesn't have any acceleration issues and starts immediately, even when cold. Just has that darn intermittent upward rpm surge. Any ideas???
