ok heres the deal. I pulled my bike out after winter and installed a slip-on. rode the bike for about a week or so and have just finished installing a ivans jet kit. i started her up and allowed her to warm up for 3 or 4 mins during witch i bliped the thottle and had a back fire with a 3 or 4 inch flame out of the pipe. i am pretty sure it back fired at about 5k rpm. i know i should get a advacer. and i will order one in the next week or so. will this help?also the exhast seens kind of dark in color.

Yeah, or did you have the choke on? Cause after running for 3-4 min and still having the choke on, then blipping the throttle...

no the choke was off... but i took it down the street and didnt get any more backfires or flames.Comment
