Contact Laura at SpeedWerks.com, I think you might have to use the ones for Bandit or SV's.

Spool sliders are designed to simply thread into the mounts found on most modern sportbikes. Unfortunately, the Katana does not have this mount. You have two choices (one is better than the other):

Option 1: Drill a hole in the swingarm and install a rivet nut to thread the spool slider into. The problem here is that the back portion of the swingarm is hollow and I'd be afraid that it would simply bend if you were sliding on it. It would probably be fine for using a stand.

Option 2: Have someone weld a chunk of metal onto the bottom of the swingarm, then drill and tap that. This will give you a place to mount the spool slider.
If you're not on a SpeedWerks bike, you're probably behind one.

No problem. Anytime. I know it's not the answer you were wanting to hear, but wanted to let you know anyway.

There is also a thread of one of the members welding that piece of round tube on to put the spools on Steve. I was looking for it but wasn't able to find it due to not remembering the title.

I did it. Here is a finished pic of my swing arm with the sliders on and what it took to weld them on. Go to a machinist and have him make the part THEN weld it on. Don't weld on a chunk of metal and try to tap it. That is a lot more work. And before I get a million PMs about this all I did was measure the width of the swing arm for how long the part needed to be and have the shop drill and tap the hole to accept 8mm x 1.25 bolts. That is the standard thread count that every other bike I looked at had.

What about drilling a hole in the swingarm and weld the pipe inside it? Just a thought to ponder.

I was going to do that but I liked it under the swing arm better.
