I was going down the road and the gear between N and 1st was hard to change and the other gears where easy to change. Then i stopped at a stop light and changed my gear to 1st where it died on me. Ok now i figured out that the clutch lever was not doing its job. So i adjusted the dial adjuster and was able to get to the house. I took the farings off and didnt see anything wrong except for i had no tention on my clutch lever. Can the clutch cable be streched to far? I tried adjusting the cable from the sprocket cover but that never seemed to work. I want to say its the clutch cable and i wasnted to see what you people think before i take any other action.

Could be a done cable , or a problem with the lifter mechanism , which is what the end of the cable goes to . The bucket holding the ball could've given up (seen it happen) , or one of the bolts holding the lifter could've gone (had that happen to ME ) . Either way , pop off the sprocket cover to see what's up .
