  • How a Constant-mesh Motorcycle Transmission Works

    I found this link on the VTX board I frequent...thought it would be informative for everybody. It's a java animation of a constant-mesh transmission, you can shift through 6 gears, 1N23456 and observe the forks and gears moving and working together to change the output shaft speed with accompanying descriptions.

    oh, and did I mention that I got a VTX1300 yesterday!

      I love VTX's... Here's mine with about a quarter of the winter mods on. Did you get the C, R or S?

            Awesome.. I love those colors. Have you checked out VTXOA? They have a world record ride attempt they are planning for July to ride in to the honda factory.
