      You can usually get autolites from autozone for around $1.50 each, less if there is a rebate.

        NGK CR9EK for me.
        90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

          Yeah my 97 kat600 uses CR9EK's too and I tried the CR9EIX's when I first got the bike and fouled the 11/each plugs after a few days. Thankfully, I THINK the CR9EK's are still around 7/each...although I remember when they used to be 4/each.

            I wouldn't get Autolite. This is what happened to an Autolite plug in my Kat during a sustained high-speed run:



            Sudden loss of power, ran like crap, couldn't figure out why till I noticed one header was cooler than the rest and pulled the plugs (I had replaced them not long before this happened, and the NGKs were out of stock at the time).

              Put autolite in my 02 katana so far so good but only about 1000 miles better keep an eye on mine huh!!

                So far only NGK why not, it's what is recommended!
