If you have to replace them, go with used known-good ones because new ones are horridly expensive. If you do go new, look for an aftermarket version, such as an MSD system -- at least you'll feel better about spending that kind of $$.
Definitely Aftermarket, I have used the Accel coils and loved them. MSD is also a good one, a little more than the Accel but alot less expensive than OEM. I would also try used but be careful you might not be able to know how long they will last. It is mostly about the big BUCK.

awhile back i was touble shooting my loss of power problem and considered replacing the coils.dennis kirk's catalog had a test proceedure to find the right coils.mine fell in the middle of the two styles so i did not use them.btw did you check connections cut back on leads and use another spark plug or swap coil to other side?
Nope, but I figure I'd get input on brands etc now.
That way after I sort everything and need coils I'll have all the info.. This coil looks fairly new,
definatly not the original.
