I have a 2006 Katana. I recently started working on it myself to save money after It sat a few years. Everything was fine until I got to the petcock. During disassembly it was fine. Now after I've put everything back together the peacock leakes. It leaked from that little hole that runs up to the filter looking that runs into the gas tank. I have no idea what I've done wrong. I am no mechanic by any means so my knowledge of everything is very limited. Does that sound like I need a new petcock, or will a rebuild kit fix the problem?
