Well I'm not Spedee but I can tell you what bulbs to get.
The current bulbs in the dash are known as #74 automotive bulbs. So you need an LED that fits the #74 standard. On the page that the link Spedee put up go all the way to the bottom, they are the second ones up from the bottom. Now Super Bright LEDs sell 2 types of the #74 LED, with and without the base. YOU DO NOT NEED THE BASE! If you want to spend more money by all means buy the ones with the base. I bought the ones without the base and just replaced the bulb in my factory base with the LED. Bulb slides out, LED slides in.
As for quantity I think I bought 7 blue (6 for back lighting and 1 for the high beam light), 3 green (for the blinkers and neutral light), and 1 red for the oil light. Grand total was about $20.00 shipped, a little more I think.
    Thanks

        I am kinda of confused...

the illumiglow mod makes the gauges glow formt he back instead of having the them lit by the dash lights. Why buy the dash lights then? so that the needle can be seen? i am confused guys help a bro out. I never really thought about the needle issue until you guys mentioned it.

You want to replace the back lights with LEDs zleviticus because the white back lights in the dash will "wash out" the reverse glow gauge faces and make the look like crap. Plus it will make the clock light up blue to match. Have a look at the pic I uploaded.

P.S. Yes the zero is a gear indicator. It was built last year nd I have a how to on it but it's being revised right now so please don't bombard me with PMs and emails about it. When it's done I'll post it.

In Sweden we call the old Volvo 240's for tractors they're slow, heavy, reliable and you find them everywhere on the countryside (was the most common car in the 80's/beginning of 90's).

but I don't think that's what Spedee means...
