center stand cut off

Hey is there any draw backs to cutting off the center stand mounts? It's in the way of my new exhuast and i really don't forsee every going to use a center stand???

well if you don't do any maintenance yourself or have a rear stand you can use then you don't need the center stand. it'll save you a few pounds too. i like my center stand though, makes oil changes, and chain cleaning/lubing much much easier...

I like the weight reduction... it looks like a lot of beefffyyy metal down there for something i don't have. i just use blocks it's ghetto but it works and i tie up the top... once i grind it off i will let you guys know... i need to tuck my new gsxr exhuast in more...
