  • Someone with experience.......

I just got a Full D & D exhaust for my 98 Kat...It has the can,a midpipe, and two sets of headers....Am I all set to slap it on with just 4 exhaust gaskets(not included...),or do I need additional gaskets for the midpipe, and the other parts of the exhaust?!Can the two springs, and the one clamp be enough?!Thanks for any type of info!!

Yep. All set to go. CP advises some high temp anti-seize paste for the header bolts and where the pipes fit together. Makes for easier removal at a later stage.

Buy a shift kit from CP if you haven't already as it comes with the exhaust gaskets.

What made you go with a full system vs a slip on? Where did you get your frame sliders? Thanks Kev

yep, get some high temp silicone (I used the red RTV) for all the joints (where the pipes meet), and high temp anti-seize for the header bolts.
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

1)the full black satin look.. 2)better flow=better performance 3)works alot better with the setup I'm running(Factory pro Jet Kit,Trans Detent Spring Kit,and Ign. Advancer)

The "Frame Sliders".......they are just pegs from a bicycle!!My buddy got them from walmart, painted them, then attached them to the frame...They did save my left side when it went down the other day in a parking lot,so they serve their purpose....
