Has anyone ever installed the LSL handle bar risers? I was wondering if they really make that much difference. I'm trying to find some risers for my 05 750 but it looks lean in the choice. I saw the LSL and was considering buying some.

No experience with LSL as I bought a used set of Convertibars.
One other thing to consider is R&Ding the upper triple from the Bandit 600. It also uses 41mm forks; it also uses regular tubular handlebars. Had I not found the Convertibars, I probably would have done that. If it does work it will much cheaper than the LSL route.

I haven't seen a better option. Just ordered the LSL kit as well. for $319 you get handlebars, the new clamp adapters, and a longer braided brake line. No other mods other than a cable re-route are necessary.
From what I've seen by looking at pics after doing a search here, they make a huge difference. Looks like at least 3" back plus the rise. That could be the difference between a bike I can ride all day and a bike I can't ride for more than 15 minutes...

Once you get the LSL kit for the ZX, you should let us know how it works out.
