  • Drilling holes in exhaust

I have read on here about ppl drilling holes in exhaust for sound and have also had ppl tell me this, but where do the holes get drilled at? Maybe this is a dumb question, but I was thinking of trying it.

Thanks man. I had read that but didnt have the tools for that and wondered if there was another way. Guess I should just be patient and get the scorpion exhaust.

I punched a row of holes around the center opening and it sounded terrible. You definetly have to cut the baffle out.

I drilled 3/8 inch holes in the space between the opening and the outer rim of the can. 6 each side I think, it did make it sound a little different. I didnt like it at first but it grew on me. and being generally broke and not able to afford a new exhaust, I dont mind it.

Doesn't sound like such a good idea now.

I'm going to try cutting that baffle out like rokstarsbars did, we'll see how it does. All I know is drilling/punching holes in that baffle makes it sound like a pea shooter.

sounds like its scary to try.. but if you do i'd like to hear it in person after you get it done.

Actually, I think you have to cut that small pipe down so the hole saw can reach the baffle. Then you cut that whole flat piece out with the hole saw. I'm going to try it soon too.
