I was just tossing around some ideas in my head and I thought of putting in car seat heating elements between the foam and the cover on the seat of the bike, does this sound like something that could be done? I'd think it would be relatively cheap to get some heating elements off of ebay and throw them in but I don't know if they would be able to hold up to the elements very well, or if it would draw too much electricity. What do you guys think?

I sure do think it could be done , and sounds like a dandy idea at that !
Hell , some bikes already come with heated seats , so why not 
? The vinyl is fairly weatherproof (so long as there's no cuts ) , and the connections could be made weatherproof . I have a link from a while back about making your own heated gear that may apply .....
