  • How to install Gear Position Sensor and Indicator in GSX750F 99

Hi, I'm new here . I have GSX750F 1999 and I want to install gear indicator in dashboard, I could not find info how to do it. But I think first I need to replace Gear Position Sensor with 6+N pins? If I'm right can someone tell me what model I need to look on ebay or Aliexpress to buy?

Is this sensor is compatible with my bike? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1pcs...934538804.html

    Thank you

SV version is too small for the sensor to work on the Katana. Confirmed the measurements with the link you posted, that won't work.

You need a early GS 550/750/11** something models 6 pin sensor. Quick search on the site pulled up part number 37720-24A01 for the OEM part you need. You can track down bikes used on and other aftermarket options to match it if you want.

That link gives you new OEM option, or tells you other bikes it's used on (scroll down). I simply went to a oem parts fiche, and looked up the part number above.

Using the info above, you can now do searches on ebay for "insert bike model in the list + neutral + sensor OR indicator" and find lots of used options or even some aftermarket new.
