you can get official fender eliminator kits off ebay, or denniskirk.com, pretty much anywhere really. but yeah, just take a good saw, thats what I did with mine initially, I took it off just below the plate, so its looks better that way already. I'll probably just take it off the whole way eventually, over this winter season, that way......fender elims get rid of the bulky signals too.

I just took a Dremel to mine, watch out for flying peices of hot plastic though.
I think this winters mod will be to do a proper fender eliminator :P

Look on ebay for creese fender elminator. He made them for the KATS. They are pretty good from what I here. mine was already done when I got my bike. When I had my CBR I just used a a little coping saw and cut min right on off.

Hacksaw and a steady hand worked for me!

If anyone does this, please take before, during and after photos. Then post them here so us who haven't done it yet don't have to think. (Thinking hurts and I don't like doing it).

                      Haggisman,

It is a bit far for me to come to Canada to get this done (especially with the bike involved - it'd get wet during the ride through a few thousand kms of ocean).

But next time you are down here in Australia, feel free to drop by and hack the spade off the back of my bike

Using a dremel - it took me a whole of 10 minutes to do. I would suggest protective eyewear, the last thing you want is a hot piece of plastic in da eye. Super-easy mod.
