Post breaking off left upper plastic fairing '06 750

You know the three posts which push into the rubber cushions. On the left upper fairing you have one post which for some reason Mr. Suzuki decided to only partially attach to the base. This post broke off and I found it in the rubber cushion. I tried a few way of reattaching it (acetone, model glue) but it keeps breaking off.

Should I not worry?

I would just leave it off and ride, lord knows there are plenty of other screws holding it on anyway.
