Exactly. Probably about the same price as trying to fix it...

New Double Bubble touring shield if you're concerned about blocking wind I guess. Wind from the front never bothered me on a bike before though.

In my experience, that's a good thing when you're on longer trips.

                        That's a good metaphor.
Typical for classic standard bikes too, I had to have a small windshield on mine, but I find the early GSX750F windshield to be just fine.

Some guys have gotten great results by wet sanding with fine paper, and then power buffing. Takes some skill and patience.
Lot of work though, and can't beat buying a new replacement.

that is what i did with mine... wet sanded with progressively smaller grit and then power buffed... takes time but at the end of the day you fixed it and did not just buy it... and if you brake it, you then go buy a new one..lol

                            OEM is the best.

Something else, unless you buy an OEM Suzuki windshield, you're buying inferior plastic.
The Suzuki windshields cost more but are made of polycarbonate, the ebay/Amazon screens are acrylic, a softer plastic.

+1 I bought a cheap-o windhshield a couple years ago and it looks like shit now. Next time, Ill probably be trying a hand with OEM.

Hey Buffalo Bill! We're almost neighbors! Took a trip around the thumb last summer, looks like i rode right through your stompin grounds!
