Please post some pics of your kit before and after installation. I need to do the same and would like to see how your fairings turn out. Thanks

This just seems to much for a bunch of bolts and screws. Is there a cheaper place or way do this?

The issue you'll find with most off the rack fasteners, is that the head isn't genearlly large enough to capture the plastics correctly.

I had to replace my fairing bolts and I got a kit from probolts ... not sure if i would ever use them again let along recomend them . It came with plastic spacers to mafe the diameter that same as what on OEM would have been a metal shoulder. and the head strip out very easy. I stripped out 3 when I was trying to take the fairings off enough to get the carbs out.

Can someone provide a link to a pre 600 kit thats not aluminum and includes bolts for the rear fairings? I looked on amazon, but only found aluminum kits (for the front fairings). On ebay I saw mainly post 600 aluminum kits from pro-bolt.

Awesome, thanks! The exploded diagram will be VERY useful.

In case anyone else is interested, here is the "complete" kit from the same seller:

I bought my bike when it was in pieces, so I have a LOT of missing bolts/nuts/etc for the fairings, and I want to make sure I have everything I need, and the complete kit is only a little bit more.
