          definitely plan to take them off. if i can reshape, successfully, i will add some heat reflective tape as well. couldnt hurt. could it?

          still concerned about running lean though...

            That was my thought too... are they cheap aftermarket replacement parts (from China or elsewhere)

              fairings are genuine bike is completely stock.

              Any suggestions, threads on running lean? How can I address the gas flow? Thanks
